SPONSORSHIP LETTER 1 – Tamara BENTLEY
Thursday 27th November 2008
Mr Barry Walsh (Chairman)
Dear Mr Walsh,
I am writing this letter in the hope that you and Panthers – World of Entertainment would be interested in sponsoring Knockout Boxing Club. We are currently aiming to eliminate the financial hardships that Knockout Boxing Club is experiencing and we feel that sponsorship would allow us to restore the club’s economic status.
Knockout Boxing Club is an association that can be located at 1 Mulgoa Road, Penrith. The society was founded in 1994 by Stuart Branson. Knockout Boxing Club is an organisation that provides fitness training for all members of the Penrith community. Whilst participating in the classes and activities available at the club, members will be instilled with athleticism, co-operation, sportsmanship, dedication and self respect instead of “just exercise”. Activities currently available at Knockout Boxing Club are Boxing Classes, Cardio and Fitness Training, Weight training and Self Defence Classes for both men and women. Facilities that have recently been implemented into Knockout Boxing Club’s structure include a new child minding area (crèche), air conditioned training areas, cafes, restrooms including showers, lockers and a new steam sauna area. More information about Knockout Boxing Club is available on our website: https://tbentley93.wordpress.com/home/
Your generous sponsorship would be acknowledged and highlighted in many ways by Knockout Boxing Club including the following.
v Company name featured in future meetings and acknowledgement at various presentations such as awards nights
v Signage of logos etc. on merchandise
v Free VIP access and invitations to all club related events
v Penrith Panthers website links listed on our internet page
v Certificate of Appreciation for display at premises recognising the assistance provided
Members and affiliates of Knockout Boxing Club would benefit tremendously by your support and generosity. The cost to sponsor Knockout Boxing Club would be $15000. I would be most appreciative of a telephone call from you or a Penrith Panthers representative to inform me of your interest.
You may reach me at 0425385525. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thankyou for considering this request.

My name is Natasha Banovic, I work at Knock-out Boxing.
Knock- out boxing is a club to train people in boxing. For new promotions we have added cardio & weight lifting classes. New facilities also include:
- child minding – crèche
- training room with new air conditioners
- toilets including showers and hand dryers
- restroom and change rooms
- steam sauna
Knockout Boxing Club provides a safe & friendly training atmosphere for all customers and strives to make the best possible training facilities within the club.
Recently we have had a drop in customers and have been running low on our income so we as a club have thought up strategies. Some ideas that have been carried out are things like new facilities etc.
I am writing to ask the Penrith Council to sponsor our club. With doing this it can benefit the council shire by providing better facilities for the local residence by creating activities such as boxing cardio training etc. And will also help to keep teenagers out of trouble in the local community.
We would also like to request to increase in street parking area and permission to use the park across the road. In sponsoring and helping us to do these things we can help to keep teenagers and children occupied in after school times which may decrease the amount of troubles Eg. Graffiti in the streets and the community can benefit with this club by using our facilities and getting fit and healthy, this can also reduce patients in the local hospitals because people will be healthy and looking after their body by using the facilities, making the hospital more available for different people with different needs.
Your actions in sponsoring our club and helping the local community will be greatly appreciated, mostly by the club but also members and all the new members to come. The community will have great benefits and this can go towards creating a better living area for the community.
